I had a friend with really bad acne scars. For years she was very self-consious of them and would heavy amounts of make-up to cover them up. She was in fact very pretty but because of the scars she made herself feel down about herself. And that showed in her relationships with men.
We sometimes think that plastic surgery is all about liposuction and boob jobs. We often forget that it can have a really worthwhile cause to help people who have physical scars.
Just like acne scars.
My friend went to see a well known plastic surgeon in our area about 12 months ago. She underwent laser treatment and the results have been fantastic. She is a new person and now has a new man in her life. I am so happy for her!
This to me is another reason why I think that plastic surgery isn’t a bad thing. It has some very good uses and results, just like me friend.
